Jason LepseJason Lepse is pursuing his MD at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He has received a number of scholarships and recognitions, including four different Top Academic Achiever awards. Jason Lepse completed his BA in biological chemistry with honors and the highest distinction in May 2012. At the same time, he completed his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) credentials at nearby Kansas City Kansas Community College.

After completing his undergraduate education and EMT training, Mr. Lepse gained practical experience working as an EMT with Care Ambulance in Iowa City, Iowa. He spent much of his time working on site at local car races to provide support in case of an emergency.

When he is not busy with his studies, Mr. Lepse volunteers at the JayDoc Free Clinic in Kansas City. This student-operated free clinic provides medical services to community members in need. Jason Lepse plans to make community service and international mission trips a large part of his career as a doctor.
